Inhoud van de functie

  • Je geeft op inspirerende en wijze leiding & sturing aan de operationele teams bestaande uit Service & Scheduling, order fulfilment, Techniek en Logistiek.

  • Je identificeert, analyseert en implementeert de verbetermogelijkheden in processen, richtlijnen en procedures;

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het behalen van het eigen budget (FTE & kosten structuur) door middel van optimalisatie van de organisatie alsook op niveau van incident & problem management (voorraadbeheer, preventief onderhoud, planning etc.);

  • Je bewaakt de balans tussen prijs en dienstverlening en zorgt ervoor dat BauWatch zich blijft onderscheiden in de sector;

  • Je helpt bij de verdere professionalisering van de Operationele organisatie en brengt structuur in de werkwijze;

  • Je fungeert als spil tussen Planning & Plaatsing, Productie (Supply Chain) en Service. Stemt ook regelmatig af met Sales voor het bewaken en realiseren van de jaarlijkse omzetdoelstellingen;

  • Je levert een actieve bijdrage aan (het bewaken van) de toepassing van QHSE wet- en regelgeving en realiseert de QHSE gerelateerde doelstellingen binnen Operations.

Als Operations Manager heb je een cruciale rol binnen BauWatch en maak je deel uit van het MT België. Je rapporteert aan de Country Manager: Johan Vrydag, met wie je nauw samenwerkt om de beoogde strategie en groeidoelstellingen te realiseren. Daarnaast sta je in contact met collega’s in andere landen binnen de BauWatch Group en heb je regelmatig overleg op internationaal niveau.

Automotive Aftermarket Europe, one of 80+ business units owned by of ITW, manufactures and supplies specialty and innovative chemicals for the automotive aftermarket. **POSITION SUMMARY**
As Operations Site Manager, you will define and drive the strategic direction of the plant in alignment with overall business objectives. You will lead the execution of this strategy, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators and company goals related to operational efficiency, product quality, cost optimization, and service excellence. A critical part of your role is to ensure the right level of stock to service our customers on time and in full. Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies is required, while also overseeing, guiding, and evaluating the performance of middle management. **Senior Project Manager**
As Senior Project Manager, you will act as liaison between the client and 3rd party suppliers. You will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of mechanical and utilities projects of moderate to advanced complexity, value between $10,000 and $5,000,000. Key project delivery focus areas include safety stewardship, scope, budget, schedule, and quality & risk management.
Under minimal supervision, acts as client representative for all aspects of assigned engineering and construction projects and responsible for delivery of those projects to the customer. Must work as a liaison between customer's departments and 3rd party suppliers to ensure the incorporation and communication of all aspects affecting the successful delivery of the project.
Projects will vary in size and scope and therefore the Project Manager is expected to develop and deliver a variety of projects at any one time. This position represents the client's best interest at all times, therefore a good understanding of the client's business issues is required. These issues include industrial environments, validation, commissioning, and safety. Works with our customers to develop and deliver a project which best suits their needs, with an emphasis on timely project delivery. Typically manages projects of moderate to advanced complexity, risk and exposure between 10,000 and 15,000,000 in total cost to the client.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Identify and generate project opportunities from within a set portfolio of maintenance contracts.
+ Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor.
+ Work with developers, designers and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s).
+ Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome. This is to be within agreed budget requirements and required profit margins.
+ Manage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required. Carry out full tender
+ Analysis of all sub-contractor returns.
+ Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project they are leading.
+ Ensure the customers QHSE practices and processes are fully embedded in each project.
+ Ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures.
+ Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) "end to end". Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management and site manager duties.
+ Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
+ Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plans.
+ Mutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to the benefit of the project and the business.
+ Ensures project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.
+ Provide timely monthly reports to the Project Development Manager in an agreed format.
**Requirements**
+ Civil Engineer (architect) or Industrial Engineer
+ Minimum 5 years' experience of successfully delivering projects in a technical, FM, construction or critical environment
+ Recognised qualification in Project Management
+ Fluent in Dutch, and English (orally and written)
+ Broad understanding of construction Health and Safety law and legislation
+ Experience and skills in understanding, developing and maintaining client relationships
+ Analytically minded with strong financial and numerical skills
+ Strong presentation skills and proven ability to secure new business
+ Ability to deliver to deadlines
+ Proficient in common application software (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
+ Experience in oil and gas or similar industry with intensive safety programs is considered a plus
