The Role

We are expanding our Maintenance Team and are looking for a EASA Licensed B1/B2 Aircraft Technician. Together with a team of 10–14 colleagues (mechanics, Cat A mechanics, licensed technicians, and troubleshooters), you will ensure our fleet remains airworthy – from scheduled checks to solving complex technical challenges.

You will work in a 6-week rotation schedule (7 days on, 7 days off – covering morning, late, and night shifts), with an additional 30 working days spread across the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and certify line and light maintenance tasks on our Airbus fleet (A319, A320, A320neo, A330).
• Troubleshoot and monitor recurring technical issues.
• Conduct inspection and test tasks according to Part 66 and company license.
• Ensure accurate completion of aircraft documentation.
• Perform towing, pushback operations, and ATC radio communications.
• Issue Release to Service with precision, speed, and quality.

Your Profile

• Holder of an EASA License B1 or B2, including a type rating on Airbus A320 or A330
• Professional level if English
• Accurate, safety-focused, and responsible.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Role: Aviation Energy Data Analyst

Are you concerned by transport’s climate impact and continued reliance on fossil fuels? Have you got experience in how the electricity system will need to adapt to cope with the changes to both supply and additional demand? T&E is looking for a talented and dynamic data analyst to join the team to work on electro-sustainable aviation fuels (e-SAF). The electrification of transport and acceleration of the deployment of renewable energy will create both challenges and opportunities in the green transition. The analyst will work alongside the shipping and energy team to build a case for e-fuels to use in transport’s hard-to-abate sectors.

Aviation is a challenging sector to decarbonize. We’re looking for a data analyst to research available aviation decarbonization options, using data and research to inform policy and financial instruments in order to deliver the required fuels. We need convincing and compelling charts, analysis, reports and presentations to convert complex information into advocacy and media friendly material. Finally, we need to convince European lawmakers to set ambitious but achievable goals to drive the sector from being the fastest growing climate problem to one of sustainability.

This position requires an engineer or scientist with experience in environmental science, energy systems or related fields.

Main functions of the role:

● Taking a leading role on T&E’s analytical work on green energy for aviation

● Compiling robust and compelling data, evidence and argumentation in order to reduce aviation’s climate impact.

● Developing analytical models and tools, conducting market analysis, and quantifying the impact of regulations to inform policy solutions and T&E strategy

● Analyzing data as well as complex policy issues from a variety of sources including scientific studies, European Commission reports and models being used to shape EU policy

● Support the organization with ad hoc requests and fast technical responses for both internal and for third party stakeholders, such as policy makers and journalists.

● Advocating T&E’s position to policymakers at EU and national level, politicians, business leaders, civil society actors and our international network.

● Converting large data sets or complex policy implications into clear, robust and beautiful charts.

The successful candidate would ideally meet the following criteria:

● At least two years relevant experience in the field of energy and/or transport. This position is open to talented entry level candidates to those with 5+ years experience. Job title and salary will reflect previous experience.

Expertise in and knowledge of energy systems, electricity markets and synthetic fuels and their processes.

● Have strong analytical skills, an ability to quickly grasp technical issues, assess data, and good knowledge of Excel. Python programming would be an advantage.

● Relevant professional experience working on technical issues in the environmental or energy sectors, or in a research institution

● Project management experience including strong interpersonal and team-working skills and an ability to deliver to tight deadlines.

● Excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to write in English fluently, accurately and concisely. Other European languages are considered a bonus

● The confidence to think and act with initiative, to engage and influence policymakers of different stripes, industry representatives and other stakeholders at the highest level.

Practicalities

This position is advertised as a permanent, full-time position based in Brussels. While we offer a flexible working environment, there is an expectation that there are at least two days per week spent in the office. Candidates can also be based in cities in our nearby national offices: Paris, London, or Berlin. For candidates based in those cities, there is an expectation that they will work in the T&E offices at least two days a week, and will spend several days per month in Brussels.

Your Main Responsibilities:

The Base Maintenance Manager is responsible for all Base Maintenance activities in the Zaventem hangars. With a team in charge of preparation, management, customer relations and invoicing, he is accountable for the trio of quality, costs and deadlines for heavy maintenance aircraft checks.

• Participate in the ongoing optimisation of Sabena Engineering’s overall operations. Works as part of the Management team to achieve this
• Implement the strategy within your abilities and achieve the objectives assigned to you by the executive Vice president of the Airframe department.
• Validate quotations for in-house projects with the N-1s, to ensure that quotations are competitive and draw up commercial proposals to submit them to the EVP Operation Airframe for final approval

• Seek out and implement measures to reduce rigidity losses.
• Manage staffing levels in the department. Ensure that your unit is adequately staffed with suitable experienced and qualified fixed personnel to ensure the achievement of operational objectives while respecting allocated budgets.
• Ensure compliance with current regulations and standards (EASA, Part 145, etc) and take part in resolving safety reports and quality findings for which you are responsible.

Your Profile :

Dans le cadre du développement de nos activités en Belgique chez un de nos clients historique dans le secteur de l’aéronautique, nous recherchons un Ingénieur Étude Mécanique ou Mécatronique pour participer à la conception d’équipements moteurs.

Vous aurez pour principales activités :

• Participer à la conception du produit en interaction avec le bureau de dessin et les spécialistes
• Réaliser les études de dimensionnement mécanique du produit, en collaboration avec le département Modélisation et Calculs.
• Piloter les essais de mise au point / qualification (spécification technique d’essai, suivi de la campagne, analyse et synthèse des résultats d’essai)
• Coordonner les activités :

- Mener les contacts fournisseurs (planning, sujets techniques, livraison pièces, .).

- Fournir l’information technique aux acteurs (bureau de dessin et calcul, chef de projet, supply chain, .).

- Participer aux réunions techniques du projet.

- Rédiger la documentation technique (spécifications techniques (fabrication, montage, essai), dossiers de validation, etc.).

- Assurer le reporting.

Profil :

• Connaissances en mécaniques générale - niveau ingénieur
• Expérience en conception et en dimensionnement mécanique (statique, fatigue, vibratoire) ; connaissances en gestion de projet.
• Connaissance de Catia V5, et d’un logiciel de calcul FEM comme Ansys ou Samcef est un plus.
• Des connaissances en mécanique des fluides, hydraulique et électromécanique sont des plus.
