Job Description
As a Medior MES Siemens Opcenter Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions to clients in the Life Sciences industry. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and support of Siemens Opcenter MES platforms, ensuring alignment with GMP standards and digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy MES solutions using Siemens Opcenter Execution Pharma
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (automation, IT, QA, production) to gather requirements and deliver tailored MES functionalities
- Develop and maintain interfaces between MES and other systems (ERP, LIMS, SCADA) using OPC, SQL, and web services
- Support validation activities including URS, FDS, IQ/OQ/PQ documentation
- Troubleshoot and optimize MES performance and data integrity
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide bilingual support and documentation in French and English
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 2–5 years of experience in MES implementation, preferably with Siemens Opcenter
- Strong understanding of GMP, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
- Experience with SQL databases, scripting (VBScript, JavaScript), and system integration
- Familiarity with ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-facing environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Life Sciences industry (pharma, biotech, medical devices)
- Knowledge of cloud-based MES deployments (Azure, AWS)
- Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Certification in Siemens Opcenter or MES-related technologies

The consultant will primarily execute qualification activities (protocol authoring and execution) and provide leadership support to align with CSV team objectives.

Project Duration

Key responsibilities
- Author and execute qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for Automation & Manufacturing Systems (MES, PCS, OSI-PI).
- Support validation documentation activities across the CSV lifecycle.
- Coordinate with stakeholders in Validation, Manufacturing, and Automation on execution activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with validation standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of CSV/validation execution experience with a strong track record in GxP environments.
- Proven expertise in Automation & Manufacturing Systems (MES, PCS, OSI-PI).
- Hands-on experience in protocol writing and execution (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Fluency in French and English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with KNEAT.
- Prior exposure to large-scale, high-pressure projects.
- Familiarity with hybrid work environments in international contexts.

For a customer in Antwerp, I am searching for several Service Engineers to support several industrial Service Lines and client portfolios.
You'll be responsible for implementing automation changes, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding to service calls to ensure reliable operations at customer facilities.
Responsibilities
- Carry out automation support for customer projects, including programming, configuration, and minor modifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance on control systems and automation equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Respond to service interventions and troubleshoot system issues on-site and remotely.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement PLC and SCADA modifications as needed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to PLC systems, SCADA/HMI interfaces, and network configurations.
- Work with various automation platforms, including Rockwell and Siemens.
- Provide technical support to clients and ensure clear communication and documentation of all activities.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support customers during urgent breakdowns.

Profile
- Background/degree in Software, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or equivalent through experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Mechelen DC Power, Controls & Information Systems (PC&IS) technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of critical equipment in a highly automated warehouse environment. This role is pivotal in meeting specifications and maximizing the use of cutting-edge automation technologies. The technician will operate primarily during the day shift at the Mechelen P&G Distribution Centre (DC), which features state-of-the-art systems including automated storage and retrieval systems, automatic conveyors for pallet transfers (including PLCs), automatic scanning, and automated truck loading systems. Key responsibilities:
Automatic Dead-Pile Loading and Unloading System (ADP)
+ Contribute to the commissioning of the ADP system, the first of its kind in P&G globally.
+ Ensure the operability of the ADP by programming all necessary stacking patterns into the PLC
+ Maintain equipment reliability through regular assessments and troubleshooting
Operations Technology (OT) Continuous Improvement
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing equipment KPIs, including ADP performance, conveyor scanner efficiency, pallet throughput on conveyors, and automated truck loading systems
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions
Bridge Between OT and IT Teams
+ Act as a liaison between the Operations Technology team and the IT team managing systems, software, and applications critical to warehouse operations
+ Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions
