Als **Repair Technician** bij Otis ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van herstellingen aan liften en roltrappen in de regio Herentals. Je werkt zelfstandig of in team om technische problemen op te lossen, met oog voor veiligheid, kwaliteit en klanttevredenheid.
**Taken en verantwoordelijkheden**
+ Uitvoeren van geplande en dringende herstellingen aan liften en roltrappen.
+ Analyseren en oplossen van technische storingen.
+ Rapporteren van uitgevoerde werken via digitale tools.
+ Samenwerken met collega's van onderhoud en modernisering.
+ Zorgen voor een veilige werkomgeving voor jezelf en anderen.
+ Klanten professioneel te woord staan en informeren over de uitgevoerde werken.
**Profiel**
+ Technisch diploma (elektromechanica, elektriciteit of gelijkwaardig door ervaring).
+ Ervaring in een technische buitendienstfunctie is een plus.
+ In het bezit van een rijbewijs B.
+ Zelfstandig, oplossingsgericht en klantgericht.
+ Bereid om deel te nemen aan een wachtdienst (per beurtrol).
+ Goede kennis van het Nederlands.

We are already in business since 1923 and are mainly known as a global Tier 1 automotive supplier. Since some years we are expanding into renewable energy and packaging. We employ about 2200 people in various production facilities of which the largest ones are situated in Mexico, Brazil, Czechia, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey and South Africa.

Currently we are looking for a Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor in Lummen (Belgium):

In this role you’re responsible for the maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, safety, tidiness and confidentiality.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the maintenance, facilities and component manufacturing team, in total 5 direct reports.
  • Implement programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness;
  • Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions;
  • Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner and to identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders, spare parts and maintenance history of plant equipment;
  • Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner;
  • Maintains safety, health, environmental policies and procedures;
  • Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary;
  • Adherence to ISO 14001 environmental systems requirements.

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management is desirable although significant experience and special training may be acceptable instead of a degree;
  • Broad experience in mechanical, pneumatical, hydraulic and electrical equipment;
  • Knowledge in preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and construction methods and techniques;
  • Knowledge of quality management methods (IATF 16949, ISO14001, ISO45001);
  • Relevant experience in a maintenance environment with and 5 years’ maintenance supervisory experience
  • Perfect Dutch and Englis language skills.
