Currently we are looking for a Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor in Lummen (Belgium):
In this role you’re responsible for the maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, safety, tidiness and confidentiality.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance, facilities and component manufacturing team, in total 5 direct reports.
- Implement programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness;
- Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions;
- Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner and to identify opportunities for improvement;
- Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders, spare parts and maintenance history of plant equipment;
- Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner;
- Maintains safety, health, environmental policies and procedures;
- Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary;
- Adherence to ISO 14001 environmental systems requirements.
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management is desirable although significant experience and special training may be acceptable instead of a degree;
- Broad experience in mechanical, pneumatical, hydraulic and electrical equipment;
- Knowledge in preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and construction methods and techniques;
- Knowledge of quality management methods (IATF 16949, ISO14001, ISO45001);
- Relevant experience in a maintenance environment with and 5 years’ maintenance supervisory experience
- Perfect Dutch and Englis language skills.

+ Storingen en andere problemen in ons machinepark verhelpen door gerichte en efficiënte interventies, volgens de veiligheids-, milieu- en bedrijfsvoorschriften
+ Preventief onderhoud uitvoeren volgens het vooropgestelde maandplan
+ (Nieuwe) machines installeren of verplaatsen
+ Voorraad van het onderdelen- en gereedschappenbestand beheren
+ De technische documentatie van machines en installaties up-to-date houden
+ Samenwerken met machinebouwers en leveranciers bij aankopen en/of ontwikkelen van nieuwe machines, binnen het budget
+ Technisch advies geven aan supervisors en operatoren
+ Voorstellen doen voor vervanging, herstelling en revisies van machines of aangepaste werkmethodes, en projecten uitvoeren
**Qualifications:**
Voor deze boeiende functie waarbij je echt een verschil kan maken, zijn wij op zoek naar een kandidaat die:
+ Een diploma 7e jaar (elektro-)mechanica en enkele jaren relevante werkervaring binnen een productieomgeving heeft (minimum 5 jaar)
**Kennis en ervaring:**
+ Kennis van PLC en pneumatica is een plus
+ Een sterk organisatorisch en technisch inzicht combineert met een analytisch en probleemoplossend vermogen.

**Jouw rol en team in een notendop**
Als onderhoudstechnicus in Sint-Niklaas, België, zorg je voor een soepele werking en een lange levensduur van onze machines en gebouwinfrastructuur door middel van zowel preventief als correctief onderhoud. Je draagt actief bij tot het minimaliseren van productieverstoringen en het handhaven van een veilige werkomgeving. Je werkt nauw samen met een toegewijd team onder leiding van de Maintenance Supervisor. Je werkt in ploegen (5 dagen per week) om de klok rond technische ondersteuning te garanderen.
Wij helpen je om je doelen te bereiken en je te ontwikkelen door jou regelmatig feedback te geven en toegang te geven tot (online) trainingen.
**Doel van de functie**
+ Stilstanden in het productieproces voorkomen door preventief en curatief onderhoud van de machines.
+ Machines in goede staat houden om te voorkomen dat de levensduur van de machine wordt verkort en om het risico op onveilige werkomstandigheden te elimineren.
+ Opvolgen van de staat van het gebouw en de nutsvoorzieningen om defecten te voorkomen en zo de veiligheid van medewerkers en bezoekers te waarborgen.
**Jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:**
+ Preventief onderhoud machines
+ Het uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud aan het machinepark op basis van een onderhoudsplan

**Jouw** **Verantwoordelijkheden**
+ Je wordt ingeschakeld om storingen aan onze logistieke installaties (bv. hoogbouwkranen, palletliften, sorteerinstallaties, transportsystemen) snel te herstellen om stilstand tijden en werkonderbrekingen te minimaliseren.
+ Je behandelt oproepen vanuit de meldkamer, rapporteert deze en escaleert indien nodig.
+ Samen met je collega's analyseer je onderbrekingen en werk je plannen uit om storingen in de toekomst te vermijden.
+ Samen met je collega's sta je in voor het preventief onderhoud op de logistieke installaties.
+ Je werkt mee aan verbeteringsprojecten om de beschikbaarheid, veiligheid en efficiëntie van de totale installatie te verhogen door gebreken te analyseren, voorstellen te formuleren en aanpassingen uit te (laten) voeren.

Als technician van ons warehouse verricht je onderhouds- en reparatiewerkzaamheden aan gebouwen, gereedschappen, machines, transportmateriaal, meubilair, transportband en verpakkingsmachines.
WAT GA JE DOEN?
Concreet ben je verantwoordelijk voor:
Het voeren van zowel preventief onderhoud als herstellingen;
Het opsporen van storingen en zoeken naar geschikte oplossingen;
Het registreren van de ondernomen acties;

Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met onze operatoren en leidinggevenden in het warehouse. Een goeie communicatie verzorgen met hen op cruciale momenten is belangrijk. Ook heb je veel contact met externe partijen die we inschakelen en waar jij het eerste aanspreekpunt bent.
WAAR ZIJN WE NAAR OP ZOEK?
Deze job is zonder meer erg boeiend, zeer gevarieerd, maar ook veeleisend. Daarom is het belangrijk dat goede kandidaten al ervaring hebben opgedaan in een industriële/ logistieke omgeving. Jouw kennis en ervaring.

Maintenance Technician
Main responsabilities?
- You are technically responsible for maintaining and improving the entire machine park.
- You are responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of production installations with a focus on preventive and corrective maintenance of production-related installations.
- You base yourself on plans, schedules or documents of the constructor and internal procedures.
- You are responsible for drawing up and optimising the preventive maintenance of production machines, also writing procedures and checklists for carrying this out.
- You provide technical assistance to operators in case of breakdowns and work with colleagues on improvements with the aim of increasing quality and efficiency.
- Growth opportunities: expansion of the existing production facilities increases the work area in the future.
- The short communication channels ensure that you can help direct the maintenance organisation yourself.
- You report to the supervisor maintenance and work closely with the production supervisors, operators and other technicians.
- You will work in a flexible system (starting hours between 6 and 10 am) in a day shift, no weekend work.
Requirements:
- Experience in preventive, corrective maintenance and trouble shooting in a production environment are a must.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience in a technical direction (electromechanics)
- Must be a Fluent Dutch speaker
- 2 years' experience in a maintenance department : preferably in food, pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
- Qualities such as proactivity, punctuality, responsibility, perseverance and perfectionism are important.
