**Senior Project Manager**
As Senior Project Manager, you will act as liaison between the client and 3rd party suppliers. You will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of mechanical and utilities projects of moderate to advanced complexity, value between $10,000 and $5,000,000. Key project delivery focus areas include safety stewardship, scope, budget, schedule, and quality & risk management.
Under minimal supervision, acts as client representative for all aspects of assigned engineering and construction projects and responsible for delivery of those projects to the customer. Must work as a liaison between customer's departments and 3rd party suppliers to ensure the incorporation and communication of all aspects affecting the successful delivery of the project.
Projects will vary in size and scope and therefore the Project Manager is expected to develop and deliver a variety of projects at any one time. This position represents the client's best interest at all times, therefore a good understanding of the client's business issues is required. These issues include industrial environments, validation, commissioning, and safety. Works with our customers to develop and deliver a project which best suits their needs, with an emphasis on timely project delivery. Typically manages projects of moderate to advanced complexity, risk and exposure between 10,000 and 15,000,000 in total cost to the client.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Identify and generate project opportunities from within a set portfolio of maintenance contracts.
+ Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor.
+ Work with developers, designers and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s).
+ Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome. This is to be within agreed budget requirements and required profit margins.
+ Manage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required. Carry out full tender
+ Analysis of all sub-contractor returns.
+ Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project they are leading.
+ Ensure the customers QHSE practices and processes are fully embedded in each project.
+ Ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures.
+ Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) "end to end". Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management and site manager duties.
+ Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
+ Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plans.
+ Mutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to the benefit of the project and the business.
+ Ensures project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.
+ Provide timely monthly reports to the Project Development Manager in an agreed format.
**Requirements**
+ Civil Engineer (architect) or Industrial Engineer
+ Minimum 5 years' experience of successfully delivering projects in a technical, FM, construction or critical environment
+ Recognised qualification in Project Management
+ Fluent in Dutch, and English (orally and written)
+ Broad understanding of construction Health and Safety law and legislation
+ Experience and skills in understanding, developing and maintaining client relationships
+ Analytically minded with strong financial and numerical skills
+ Strong presentation skills and proven ability to secure new business
+ Ability to deliver to deadlines
+ Proficient in common application software (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.


You will manage the resources assigned to each project, handle budget planning and forecasting, and ensure alignment between IT and business objectives. You will report directly to the Manager, while maintaining close collaboration with business stakeholders through regular service and project reviews.


Your role will require leading remote teams as well as multidisciplinary teams across departments to guarantee timely and high-quality project delivery.





Key responsibilities






Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables across transversal services





Monitor and control project budgets (OPEX & CAPEX), including multi-year forecasting





Lead and coordinate internal and external project teams, including architects, senior consultants, and junior consultants





Conduct regular project and service reviews with business stakeholders





Prepare and deliver high-quality communications and presentations, including SteerCo sessions





Manage RFP (Request for Proposal) projects in compliance with public sector standards

Je ervaring en competenties



je hebt bij voorkeur heb je een diploma hoger onderwijs van het lange type of een universitair niveau,

je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante beroepservaring bij het uitrollen van IT-projecten en/of van projecten in een IT-omgeving,

je bent vertrouwd met een project management methode (Prince 2, PMI of andere), ervaring met de agile-methode (Scrum) vormt een voordeel en bent vertrouwd met SQL (queries.),

je bent Nederlandstalig en beschikt over een goede kennis van het Frans,

je bent georganiseerd, methodisch en sterk in onderhandelen en overtuigen, je bent sterk in het stellen van prioriteiten en in het anticiperen,

Vos expériences et compétences



Diplôme d'études supérieures en informatique ou dans un domaine similaire, de préférence

Minimum 3 ans d'expérience professionnelle pertinente en tant que Project Manager

Connaissance d' une méthodologie de gestion de projets (Prince 2, PMI, Agile ou autres)

Véritable moteur, vous avez une énergie naturelle qui vous permet de faire avancer vos projets tout en finesse et bienveillance un environnement connu pour son inertie

Expérience en gestion, coaching, motivation et supervision d'équipes de projet composée de membres de l'équipe ICT et/ou de collaborateurs côté client qui n'ont parfois pas d'expérience en méthodologies de projet

Bonne capacité de gestion des attentes du client, de gestion/négociation avec des fournisseurs, de gestion du changement et de communication

Connaissance d'ITIL

Très bonne connaissance du français et/ou de Néerlandais, la connaissance de l'anglais est un atout.

Notre client recherche un(e) Lead Project Manager Agile expérimenté(e) pour diriger des équipes multidisciplinaires dans un environnement dynamique et orienté vers l'innovation. Ce poste est entièrement à distance, offrant une flexibilité optimale pour travailler depuis n'importe où. Vous serez responsable de la planification, de l'exécution et de la livraison réussie de projets complexes, en appliquant les principes et les pratiques agiles (Scrum, Kanban). Vos missions incluront le coaching et le mentorat des Scrum Masters et des Product Owners, la facilitation des cérémonies agiles, la gestion des risques et des dépendances, ainsi que l'amélioration continue des processus de développement. Une solide compréhension du cycle de vie du développement logiciel et une expérience dans la gestion de projets techniques sont essentielles. Le/la candidat(e) idéal(e) possèdera d'excellentes compétences en leadership, en communication et en résolution de conflits. Vous devrez être capable de favoriser un environnement de travail collaboratif, transparent et orienté vers la performance. La capacité à naviguer dans des environnements complexes, à gérer les parties prenantes à tous les niveaux de l'organisation et à prendre des décisions éclairées est primordiale. Ce rôle demande une grande autonomie, une excellente organisation et une aptitude à motiver les équipes pour atteindre les objectifs communs, le tout dans un cadre de télétravail. Nous recherchons une personne proactive, passionnée par la méthodologie agile et capable d'apporter une valeur ajoutée significative à nos projets. L'expérience dans la mise en place de programmes agiles à grande échelle et la gestion de transformations agiles sera un atout majeur. Vous serez le moteur de l'adoption et de l'excellence agile au sein de l'entreprise. Les responsabilités comprendront la gestion du backlog global, la planification des releases, le suivi des indicateurs de performance agiles (velocity, cycle time, etc.), et la communication régulière de l'avancement aux différentes parties prenantes. La capacité à gérer les budgets et les ressources allouées aux projets sera également importante. Le poste est idéalement basé dans la région de **Ghent, East Flanders, BE**, mais s'exerce dans un cadre de télétravail complet. La maîtrise des outils de gestion de projet agiles (Jira, Confluence, etc.) est indispensable.

Qualifications recherchées:

• Certifications Agile reconnues (ex: CSM, CSPO, PMP-ACP).
• Minimum 7 ans d'expérience en gestion de projet, dont au moins 4 ans en méthodologie Agile.
• Expérience avérée en tant que Lead Project Manager ou Agile Coach.
• Excellente compréhension du développement logiciel et des technologies IT.
• Compétences exceptionnelles en leadership, communication et facilitation.
• Capacité à gérer des équipes distribuées et à favoriser la collaboration à distance.
• Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes et en prise de décision.
