You play an important role in the department, maintaining systems and performing tasks and activities that support our continuous improvement (CI) processes and culture. You help with data collection, ensure its accuracy, promote CI progress and keep track of the department KPI scorecards.
**How you will contribute**
You will:
+ Provide training on CI tools and techniques. You will also help departments follow our established daily management system (DMS)
+ Help teams collect data or extract it from the system to support CI activities and the DMS
+ Facilitate root-cause analysis to address identified losses and departmental KPI scorecard gaps

Votre mission principale sera d'évaluer, de gérer et de réduire les risques liés aux procédés chimiques, en veillant à la conformité avec les réglementations les plus strictes et les meilleures pratiques internationales. Ce rôle à distance permet une flexibilité totale tout en assurant une collaboration efficace avec nos sites et nos équipes techniques.
Vos responsabilités principales incluront :
- Mener des analyses de risques approfondies sur les procédés chimiques (par exemple, HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA) pour identifier les dangers potentiels.
- Développer et mettre en œuvre des barrières de sécurité techniques et organisationnelles pour prévenir les incidents majeurs.
- Établir et superviser les procédures de gestion des changements (MOC - Management of Change).

**Job description**
As a Sr. Principal Scientist, you will be responsible for developing impactful biocatalytic solutions to challenging problems in synthetic organic chemistry enabling design of ground-breaking synthesis routes and help us expand and advance our Bio-catalysis capabilities. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated person to lead the development of biocatalytic solutions aimed at creating efficient synthetic routes for a diverse range of synthetic modalities. This role will involve overseeing of research projects with a focus on enzyme screening, engineering, process development and scale-up of biocatalytic reactions, provide direction on how digital innovation and automation can shape the future of the biocatalysis group internally and help embed these concepts as an integral aspect of our growth strategy. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate across different scientific functions and network across scientific disciplines, mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of innovation and excellence in research.
**Qualifications / Requirements:**
**Experience and skills**
+ PhD, postdoctoral, or equivalent by research and development experience in chemical biology, enzymology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related field.
+ Several years of experience with demonstrated impact in solving industrially relevant problems.
+ Proficient in enzyme screening and engineering technologies and workflows for discovery and optimization of biocatalytic reactions.
+ Experience with wide range of enzyme classes.
