This role requires mobility between Antwerp harbor and Rotterdam harbor, plus surrounding areas. This is the location of many customers, and prospective customers.
For a customer offering process automation services, I am searching for a freelance Sales Manager to develop business from dormant and existing accounts while actively pursuing new prospects.
Your focus will be selling services to warm existing customers (phase 1), selling services to former customers (phase 2) and selling services to cold prospective clients (phase 3). These customers predominantly lay in the food/beverage, tank terminal/oil/petrochemical and pharma/life science domains. The location of target prospects is mostly the harbor areas of Antwerp (phase 1/phase 3) and Rotterdam (phase 2/phase 3).
Services include engineering managed service teams (process, technicians) industrial networks, services and OT solutions, NIS2 analysis, functional safety/ATEX, trainings etc.
Responsibilities
- Reengage and revive relationships with dormant and former clients to unlock new business opportunities.
- Identify, target, and win new customers within life sciences, food & beverage, and oil & gas sectors.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through research, networking, and targeted prospecting.
- Collaborate closely with technical and project teams to tailor solutions that meet client requirements.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that communicate the customers unique value.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecasts in CRM systems.
Profile
- Proven track record in a hunter/business development sales role, ideally within industrial automation or related technical fields. Candidates familiar selling software (SaaS) in the IT sector may also apply!
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented with a passion for winning new business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

**Job Purpose and Impact**
As a Process Improvement Engineer, your primary mission is to drive process improvements across multiple facilities, including a refinery, a vegetable oil biodiesel plant, and a waste-based biodiesel plant. You'll be working in a multi-skilled, integrated team to identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and sustain improvements
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Directly provide updates on the project objectives, performance measures, issues and risks to senior staff.
+ Identify, monitor, and implement continuous improvement best practices.
+ Develop and handle continuous improvement plans for projects with low to medium cost and risk in order to reach and sustain project goals.
+ Conduct organization readiness assessments, value realization, opportunity prioritization, resource evaluation and execute continuous improvement strategies that meet business requirements.
+ Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
+ A results-driven Continuous Improvement Specialist with a strong mechanical and reliability engineering background. Experienced in collaborating closely with reliability departments to reduce emergency losses and enhance equipment uptime. Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects in refinery and biodiesel operations, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive sustainable process and asset improvements.

All About the Role
- Primary support for signature of European Contracts.
