• Bridge the technical gap between clients and project teams and translate business needs into tangible data- and AI-driven solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and inspiration sessions, integrating domain knowledge to create a customer experience that drives business growth.
• Experiment with the latest techniques and interact with our own in-house experts to ensure clients receive cutting-edge solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Thorough experience in data/AI, preferably as a Data Architect or Consultant.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills: you quickly grasp complex contexts, are able to break them down into manageable parts, and understand how to collect and identify business requirements and translate these into functional requirements.
• Solution-oriented mindset: you approach challenges with a structured and pragmatic mindset, finding effective solutions while balancing best practices with real-world constraints.
• Solid commercial intuition: you're able to identify problems and define approaches quickly.
• Both strong technical abilities and soft skills to align technical and business stakeholders and drive change.
• A strong drive to continuously learn and dive deep to uncover actionable insights into new technologies.
• Know how to deal with an ever changing and very dynamic role and environment.
• Fluent English is a must; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.

Als Data Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en onderhouden van een moderne enterprise Data Platform. Je werkt in agile DevOps-teams en schakelt met verschillende stakeholders om hoogwaardige, veilige en efficiënte dataoplossingen te realiseren.

• Data Platform Development: Ontwerpen, implementeren en optimaliseren van data-opslag en verwerkingsoplossingen (Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, SQL, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric).

• Data Integratie & ETL/ELT: Bouwen van robuuste pipelines en modelleren van data voor analytisch gebruik (Power BI, SQL).

• Monitoring & Support: Beheren, monitoren en verbeteren van performance en betrouwbaarheid.

• DevOps & CI/CD: Integratie van dataoplossingen binnen agile teams via Azure DevOps of GitHub Actions.

• Stakeholder samenwerking: Nauw samenwerken met Data Owners, BI-analisten, Architecten en Governance Leads.

• Workflow Automation: Automatiseren van processen met Python (PySpark), PowerShell of Logic Apps.

• Data Governance & Quality: Toepassen van best practices op het gebied van security, governance en datakwaliteit.

• Documentatie & Standards: Bijhouden van duidelijke documentatie en werken volgens enterprise-standaarden.
  

• Bachelor of Master in Computer Science, Data Engineering of gelijkaardig.

• Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als Data Engineer, bij voorkeur met Azure.

• Sterke kennis van Azure tools (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, SQL).

• Ervaring met DevOps en CI/CD.

• Kennis van data governance, security en datakwaliteit.

• Ervaring met rapportagetools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau) is een plus.

• Uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands is een must.

Wie ben jij?

• Je hebt minimum 2 jaar ervaring in data engineering.
• Je hebt een bachelor of master in IT of een verwant domein of je hebt gelijkwaardige ervaring opgebouwd.
• Je kent MS Azure vanbinnen en vanbuiten.
• Je voelt je thuis in SQL en Python.
• Je begrijpt moderne architecturen (zoals medallion) en weet hoe je die toepast.
• Je kan autonoom werken én een team technisch aansturen.
• Je spreekt Nederlands en Engels.
