• Als Data Science Analyst sta je in voor het aanleveren van datagedreven oplossingen in een BI-team van 9 personen.
• Je ontwerpt en bouwt een modulair en toekomstgericht machine learningframework op basis van best practices en coacht collega's bij het gebruik ervan.
• Je levert een schaalbaar en overdraagbaar framework op binnen een on-premise omgeving, met het oog op een migratie naar een cloudomgeving.
• Daarnaast ontwikkel en pas je machine learningmodellen toe.
• Je analyseert en bereidt data voor.
• Zo vertaal je businessvragen naar datagedreven oplossingen en train je voorspellende modellen die je ook in productie brengt.
• Je automatiseert het volledige proces, visualiseert en presenteert de resultaten en optimaliseert continu de modellen.
• Zo zorg je ervoor dat jouw modellen waardevolle en bruikbare inzichten opleveren.

• Je behaalde een Masterdiploma of je kan een gelijkwaardig niveau aantonen door relevante ervaring.
• Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardig domein.
• Je hebt een grondige kennis van machine learningtechnieken. Tevens heb je een goede statistische achtergrond met een actieve kennis van analytische modellen.
• Je bent eveneens bedreven in SQL en Python.
• Je hebt een aantoonbare ervaring met on-premise (zoals KNIME) en clouddatascienceplatformen (zoals Microsoft Fabric).
• Ook het presenteren van bevindingen aan de business is je vertrouwd.
• Ervaring met DevOps (of soortgelijke applicaties), Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL databases is een pluspunt.

Elements we hope to see in our data scientist managers:

• Concrete experience delivering concrete AI products.
• A master degree with strong elements of modern data science techniques: Machine Learning algorithms, coding, statistics,.
• Other types of eduction are also valued.
• A sound knowledge of algorithms, and the ability to critically apply this knowledge to practical problems.
• Knowledge of common data science software. We have a Python-first setup, but will if needed tackle problems using R, SAS, SQL, Spark, and work with tools such as Jupyter Notebooks, IDE’s, Git, Microsoft Azure,
• Obviously, additional bonus points for PhD’s, and more specific knowledge like e.g. Keras, D3.js
• The desire to learn and grow
