Je werkt nauw samen met de functionele analist om projecten succesvol af te ronden.





Je staat in voor de technische setup van Power BI-omgevingen en bouwt stabiele datamodellen en ETL-processen.





Je ontwikkelt performante dashboards en rapporten in Power BI met gebruik van Power Query en DAX.





Je onderzoekt datakwaliteit, optimaliseert queries en zorgt voor een betrouwbare datastroom.


Je ondersteunt eindgebruikers bij de interpretatie en verdere uitbreiding van rapporten.






Wat verwachten wij van jou?






Je beschikt over minstens 2 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie met Power BI of data-engineering.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer. This position requires fluency in either French or Dutch, along with proficiency in English, and a strong background in data engineering best practices.








Key responsibilities



Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, etc.)

Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and store data from various sources

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions

Ensure data quality, security, and governance are enforced across data workflows

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing pipelines and data systems for performance and cost-efficiency

Participate in the design of data models, data lakes, and warehouses to support analytics and reporting

Work in an Agile environment and actively contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews






Required qualifications



5+ years of experience in data engineering roles

Proven expertise with Microsoft Azure data services

Proficiency in SQL, Python or Scala, and cloud-based ETL tools

Hands-on experience with tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Storage

Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture

Understanding of CI/CD practices and Version Control tools (e.g., GIT)

Fluency in English and either French or Dutch



Nice to have:



Experience with DevOps or infrastructure as code (e.g., TerraForm, ARM templates)

Knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Purview)

Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools

Experience working in regulated or high-compliance industries

En tant que Data Engineer, vous êtes en charge de la conception, du développement, des tests, et de la maintenance des systèmes de gestion des données, avec un accent particulier sur l'utilisation des services Amazon Web Services (AWS) ainsi que sur la gestion et intégration de données sur Snowflake.
Vos missions sont de :
- Concevoir, développer et maintenir des infrastructures de traitement des données sur des environnements AWS et Snowflake.
- Déployer et maintenir des pipelines CI/CD automatisés à l'aide d'outils comme Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, et CodeDeploy.
- Automatiser la gestion des environnements On-Premise avec des solutions comme PowerShell, Ansible, Chef ou Puppet.
- Développer des architectures de données robustes, sécurisées et évolutives, intégrant Snowflake pour le stockage et l'analyse des données, en lien avec les services AWS et les plateformes de données Amazon.
- Collaborer avec les équipes de data science pour améliorer l'exploitation des données, en exploitant pleinement les capacités de Snowflake pour l'analyse à grande échelle et en partageant les bonnes pratiques.
- Garantir la qualité, l'intégrité et la performance des systèmes de données, en menant des tests réguliers et en nettoyant les données inutilisables ou corrompues.
- Appliquer les normes de confidentialité et de sécurité des données, en intégrant les meilleures pratiques de sécurité dans l'ensemble des processus DevOps.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes développement, exploitation et sécurité pour assurer une intégration fluide des outils et processus dans le cycle de vie logiciel.
- Participer à la planification stratégique autour de la gestion des données et de l'architecture technique, et au développement de la plateforme de données Snowflake dans l'écosystème global de données de l'entreprise.

The role of Senior Engineer is perfect for ambitious technologists passionate about working with the latest Microsoft cloud technology and Microsoft experts. What you'll do
- Architecture, design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade analytics solutions and data platforms based on Azure and Databricks technologies
- Mentoring of more junior team members and supporting their personal development
- Constantly developing technical skills in the latest Azure and Databricks technologies - achieving & maintaining relevant certifications
- Working directly with high profile clients across a variety of sectors to understand their requirements and present solutions to customer sponsors
Skills and experiences
* 4-6 years of experience in Data Engineering.
* Demonstrable end-to-end experience in Data Engineering.
* Experience in working with the latest Azure technologies, such as; Databricks, Fabric, Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen 2), Cosmos DB, Azure SQL DB.
* Understanding of software engineering tools and concepts, hands-on experience in Python, SQL, Scala or PySpark
* Confident communicator who is able to explain technical terms to non-technical audiences and mentor junior colleagues
* Leads small development teams: track work, manage assignments, manage capacity, etc.
* Experience with CI/CD best practices will be a plus.
* Experience and knowledge on Microsoft Fabric will be a plus.
About you
* Fluent in English is essential for effective communication within multinational teams and with stakeholders.
* Knowledge of one of the local languages French/Dutch is a plus, for maintaining connections and communication within local customers & stakeholders.
* Microsoft Azure Expertise: Proficient in Azure Data Services like Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric.
* Data Modeling and Warehousing: Skilled in designing scalable data models and maintaining data warehouses using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure technologies.
* ETL Development: Experienced in developing and optimizing ETL processes with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
* Programming and Scripting: Proficient in SQL, Python, or Scala for effective data manipulation and processing.
* Data Security and Compliance: Knowledgeable in implementing security measures and compliance standards relevant to data operations on Microsoft platforms.
* Collaboration and Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with teams and communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders.
