• Je bouwt schaalbare dataplatformen op Azure (Data Lake, SQL DB, Synapse, Fabric).
• Je ontwikkelt en optimaliseert ETL-pijplijnen met o.a. Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python en SQL.
• Je vertaalt businessbehoeften naar werkbare dataproducten.
• Je zorgt voor monitoring, data quality en robuuste pipeline-performance.

We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong expertise in data warehousing and modelling to support data-driven initiatives within a banking environment. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to translate complex business needs into reliable and scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse and challenge business requirements and translate them into structured functional and technical specifications
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure alignment with existing data architecture
• Model and document data structures using 3NF and dimensional modelling (Kimball methodology)
• Support the design, validation, and optimisation of ETL processes
• Conduct impact analysis and formulate clear solution proposals
• Maintain consistent and structured documentation of requirements, models, and solutions
• Support testing and validation activities (e.g. defect analysis, UAT follow-up)
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and team improvement efforts
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Identify data-related risks and ensure compliance with internal governance and security standards

Profile:

• Master’s degree (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Economics)
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or functional analyst in a complex environment
• Deep knowledge of data modelling techniques: 3NF, Kimball/star schema (facts/dimensions)
• Strong SQL skills and solid experience with ETL tools
• Experience with Oracle and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is a strong asset
• Knowledge of Data Vault modelling is a plus
• Able to work independently and provide structured input to project teams
• Precise, analytical, and solution-focused approach
• Fluent in Dutch (mandatory), with a good command of English or French
