**For our client ExxonMobil in Antwerp, we are looking for a QSHE Supervisor.**
**This is an onsite position from Monday-Friday for a temporary mission for 1 year (possibility to extend but not guaranteed) -** **We are also open to freelancers for this position**
About the Role:
As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator, you will assist with the development of basic procedures and operational guidance within the Health, Safety, and Environmental program.
This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities.
Position Overview:
The QSHE Site Supervisor will assist the QSHE Manager and CBRE team in providing a wide range of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) activities on site. This role is primarily driven by two safety management systems and the PSMS behavior program. The QSHE Site Supervisor ensures all SHE regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and standards are implemented in the field, contributing to ExxonMobil's "Nobody Gets Hurt" culture and CBRE's RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence). You will be the first Point of Contact for multiple sites in Belgium.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a backup for the QSHE & Security Manager.
Support the preparation of regional stewardship reports for the QSHE Manager.
Support employees and contractors in the field for all things safety
Act as safety spotter / First line supervisor in support of the facility team
Participate in start work activity as a mentor and coach for new contractors/unregular workers on site
Serve as a mentor and trainer for the PSMS program.
Actively support PSMS implementation at multiple sites and with new hires
Be the primary contact for the E&PS Team and onsite contractors for all safety-related matters.
Support and advise the facility team on SHE, regulatory, client and CBRE expectations
Coordinate and Follow-up on Operating Integrity Management System (OIMS) requirements and support implementation of CBRE safe management system on a day-to-day basis (Logbook)
Ensure that Regulatory compliance documentation and Follow-up are posted in Logbook/OIMS Shared drive
Support site inspections, including work permit compliance and monitoring quality of contractors.
Maintain SHE records, databases, and SharePoint sites.
Participate in incident investigations with the QSHE team as needed.
Key Skills and/or experience for the function
Accurate and structured working approach.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role.
Strong management skills, including the ability to organize work and prioritize within agreed objectives.
Problem-solving skills with a realistic and simple approach to solutions.
Good communication skills with local and regional clients.
Team player with adaptability to changing priorities and time constraints.
Knowledgeable about different risk analyses methods.
High level of safety awareness in the field
Ability to coach/influence people in using and improving safety behavior programs
Knowledgeable about Regulatory Compliance
Good know-how of Microsoft office and SharePoint
Able to handle training and coaching of personnel - engaging personality
Flexibility to travel to multiple sites in Belgium: Zwijndrecht, Meerhout, Brussels, Antwerp - Exceptionally: Tournai, Liège.
Education
Knowledgeable in ISO, certified in VCA
Degree or experience in a safety related field or education (e.g. prevention advisor)
Languages
Dutch, English and French (both written and oral)

A day in the life
You'll be based at one of our sites. This means that you can closely track what's happening and people can easily ask you any questions throughout their shifts. By understanding how every task and machine works, you'll be able to think about the best way to keep processes safe.
You'll also be one of the people to put safety changes into action, which means you'll get to work closely with lots of people. Alongside your daily and weekly tasks, you'll offer support to our Operations team on ad-hoc safety-related work.
Safety is so important to Amazon, and you'll help us gather the vital data that keeps us on top of our processes and ahead of any issues. You'll also share that data with people across the business and work with other teams to make sure they're putting safety first.
Basic Qualifications
- Safety Prevention Advisor Level 3 qualification
- Microsoft / Excel / Powerpoint
- Advanced proficiency in Dutch and English in both written and verbal communication (C1 Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience communicating effectively across a broad range of stakeholders either in writing or through presentations

Automotive Aftermarket Europe, one of 80+ business units owned by of ITW, manufactures and supplies specialty and innovative chemicals for the automotive aftermarket. Automotive Aftermarket Europe manufacture products in Spain and Belgium, and commercialize around the globe serving markets in Europe, Middle East, Russia, Asia and Africa.
The plant in Sint Niklaas, is where we produce our additives for vehicles and delivers $45M revenue. We work in one shift with around 15 workers (production and warehousing). Customer service team has 3 members in Sint Niklaas and 2 in Bordeaux.
**POSITION SUMMARY**
As Operations Site Manager, you will define and drive the strategic direction of the plant in alignment with overall business objectives. You will lead the execution of this strategy, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators and company goals related to operational efficiency, product quality, cost optimization, and service excellence. A critical part of your role is to ensure the right level of stock to service our customers on time and in full. Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies is required, while also overseeing, guiding, and evaluating the performance of middle management. You also act as the site manager for other functions, supporting them locally to achieve their goals.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Planning and Procurement**
- Develop and manage planning based on the Market Rate of Demand (MRD) framework to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Support the team in ensuring the availability of raw materials, packaging, and components to support uninterrupted production.
**Production Management**
- Site roadmap and facility management. Responsible for defining required investments to align with business strategy and needs.
- Develop and manage production scheduling efficiently to ensure service while minimizing downtime
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using ITW Toolbox methodologies (e.g., 80/20, Inlining). Monitor and enhance productivity and process efficiency through KPIs
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
**Warehouse Management**
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Optimize warehouse space and logistics resources using the 80/20 approach.
- Organize and maintain inventory accuracy and assign workforce based on production and sales demand.
**Customer Service**
- Ensure efficient order processing and delivery to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers and the sales team regarding orders, deliveries, and issue resolution.
**Team Leadership and Management**
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
- Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
**Skills & Qualifications**
+ A technical oriented bachelor's degree or equivalent
+ Minimum 5+ years' experience with proven track records of operational leadership and production planning
+ Must be fluent in Dutch and English
+ Other European languages (like French or Spanish) are an asset (nice to have)
+ Solid computer skills, including Excel

**Role Purpose**
This opportunity sits within the CBRE Building Consultancy department, undertaking a wide range of commercially focused, professional building consultancy work for a variety of investor and corporate occupier clients within Belgium and across EMEA ranging from single assets to large portfolios.
Practice areas that are expected of the candidate include technical due diligence audits for investment and occupier purposes, refurbishment works, maintenance advice and monitoring instructions as part of the financing of real estate operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ To assist in the successful implementation and delivery of professional building consultancy advice, focused on architecture, to a range of clients in relation to technical due diligence instructions,
+ You are part of a team that will assess real estate, based on data room review and a site visit.
+ Your role will be assessing the building fabric elements, such as: core&shell, passive fire safety, compliance to statutory requirements.Any significant defects, non-compliances, maintenance backlog or other issues need to be reported, accompanied by a fitting recommendation.
+ Assessment in terms of compliance with current and future regulations (statutory approvals, fire safety, , etc.).

**Person Specification/Requirements**
+ Architect / Building engineer / Building Surveyor / Project Manager in construction / facility management function.
+ Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
+ Professional French or Dutch, by preference both
+ Fluent English is essential (written and spoken).The function will require concise and clear written communication.
+ Skills: knowledge of Belgian construction principles, fire safety legislation, construction permit aspects and construction standards (WTCB/Buildwise).
+ Autonomous, rigorous, and organized, you have a flair for analysis and synthesis, and are able to draft documents.
+ Driving license required.
+ Operational command of Pack Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
+ Be able to work under pressure on high velocity, but short term, projects.The candidate will need to be able to organize and prioritize tasks so that they are completed within an agreed time frame.We are counting on the ability to plan and manage the personal workload.
