Each year, billions of orders are processed through Amazon's order fulfillment network, and our state-of-the-art material handling systems make this possible. The Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging organization (MSP) designs, builds, and improves mechatronic, robotic and packaging automation technology to fulfil customers orders, make the supply chain more efficient, and achieve Amazon's Climate Pledge goals.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Quality Engineer to join the Design for Scale (DfS) Quality team with a proven track record of delivering results. This role will report to the Manager of Quality within MSP DfS.
You will be responsible for reinventing the norms of quality engineering best practices and adapting those practices to fit Amazon peculiar ways. Successful candidates will be adept at driving Changes, Auditing Suppliers, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Developing and monitoring Quality Processes and establish a Quality Culture following APQP principles. You will be depended on to implement systems in an ambiguous environment to enable faster responses and yield better outputs from product development through sustaining operations. Key job responsibilities
· Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion.
· Develop Product Quality engagement strategies from development through sustaining operations.
· Strategize and support Suppliers and Product Qualification best practices.
· Create/Review/approve qualification documents such as product dimensional data, PFMEAs, Control Plans, DFM, etc.
· Support implementation process of custom automation reducing product cost and risk.
· Scale existing supplier process and quality systems to reduce defective parts-per-million (DPPM) with increasing volumes.
· Conduct surveillance and for-cause supplier audits.
· Engage in internal/external CAPAs, improvement, and design change opportunities.
· Solve/prevent technical Product and Process Problems across a broad set of manufacturing commodities.
· Identify failure trends and drive investigation, failure analysis, and remediation.
· Support/coordinate Supplier Change Requests.
· Define and implement Supplier selection, approval, and development process and strategies.
· Participate in strategic sourcing discussions.
· Lead supplier audits based on ISO:9001 before we award business.
· Guide on best practice supplier management activities.
· Develop, implement and maintaining the QMS to ensure compliance
· Identify and Lead process improvement initiatives
International and domestic travel estimated at 25%.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of relevant work experience in Supplier/Product Quality Engineering
· BS Degree in an engineering discipline (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or equivalent experience
· Experience with quality concepts/tools/methods such as 8D, DOE, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Measurement Systems Analysis, Statistical Process Controls, etc.
· Effective communicator, able to work effectively with global and cross-functional stakeholders
· Demonstrated experience implementing quality engineering principles through development and NPI programs
· Functional knowledge of industry standards such as ISO9001 or AS9100
· Practical QMS implementation experience
Preferred Qualifications
· Engineering or Business Master's degree
· BSME / BSIE / BSEE · Commodity experience related to the following: aluminum castings, machining, DC gearmotors, encoders, sensors, wiring harnesses, plastics, cameras, sheet metal, PCBA, electronic components
· ASQ Certification
· PMP Certification
· Statistical Techniques specific to SPC and part measurement/qualification
· Strong understanding of Quality concepts and tools, such as SPC, Corrective Action Investigation like 8D, TBP, A3, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, FMEA, Control Plan etc
· Working knowledge of basic CAD to interrogate models
· Working knowledge of GD&T based on ASME Y14.5
· PLM experience (Agile, Teamcenter, SAP)
· Experience with statistical evaluation software such as Minitab or MatLab
· Certified auditor

Description
Material Compliance Engineers (MCEs) are responsible for ensuring that hardware products comply with global regulatory standards related to material composition. They collaborate with product managers, design engineers, and suppliers to inform them about applicable requirements. The MCE will oversee compliance throughout the product lifecycle, from initial releases to any subsequent changes.
Key job responsibilities
- Review and analyze change orders and bills of materials (BOMs) prior to drawing release
- Work with part and material manufacturers to obtain full material disclosures (FMD), certificates of compliance (COC), laboratory testing reports and other requisite documentation
- Review FMD, COC, and analytical reports for materials/parts/assemblies; analyze the data to evaluate compliance with relevant regulations
- Complete bills of substances for new materials and evaluate existing materials against new regulations/regulated substances to ensure initial and continued compliance
- Support the continuous improvement of the overall materials compliance strategy; document policies and procedures
- Track status of multiple requests for changes and updates from Engineers; follow up to keep approvals process flowing
- Communicate materials compliance requirements to manufacturers; request and collect manufacturer compliance data for product technical files
- Enter large amounts of data in the form of certificates of compliance, material declarations, and laboratory test reports and use this data to evaluate compliance with relevant regulations

The Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging (MSP) team builds full-stack innovation that ensures fulfillment and delivery network safety, speed, optimization, and value. We tackle big goals for the Amazon business and work hard to make automation history through invention, problem-solving, and highly-engaged teams. MSP is a global organization, with research and development labs based in Boston, MA and Brussels, Belgium.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, Material Sciences, Chemical Engineering or equivalent related work experience
- Working knowledge of RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS2)
- Working knowledge of REACH (REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006)
- Working Knowledge of the Waste Framework Directive (WFD) Substances of Concern in Products (SCIP) data base.
- Working knowledge of California Proposition 65
- Working knowledge of polymers, including polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of chemistry and compounds used in electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Experience in high-speed, high-technology design/manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with various PLM systems, specifically Compliance Modules
- Well organized with good communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with materials testing, compliance and/or regulatory affairs experience

The Automation team in Hamme, Belgium, is seeking a Manager to oversee a team of System Development (Controls) Engineers and serve as a liaison between our internal operational and business stakeholders. Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers with the ability to develop and deploy innovative solutions to address team challenges. This role requires a hands-on approach to management-starting with understanding the problem and working with customers and partners to solve it.
The candidate must set a high bar for quality, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to leverage data to drive continuous improvement within their team. They should also have a background in hardware development, enabling them to take on the challenges of sophisticated controls platforms. A demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically-aligning building controls and automation with the broader objectives of the business-is essential. A fundamental understanding of these systems is required, as the Manager is expected to be technically fluent in the work their team executes on a regular basis.

- Able to implement and track team goals, report the status of ongoing projects upwards.
- Experienced Interviewer, able to develop launch plans for new hires, and identify team needs.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Operation Manager ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse, operationele aansturing van onze klant zijn activiteiten. Je leidt technische teams , stuurt externe partners aan en bewaakt de voortgang van projecten . Je speelt een centrale rol in het managementteam , waarbij jouw input van strategisch belang is voor de verdere groei van het bedrijf.


Operationeel aansturen & coördineren van de interne diensten, projectteams, onderaannemers, toeleveranciers (werfleiding, techniekers, monteurs, projectleiders, onderaannemers, externe consultants en leveranciers, general services zoals office & warehouse management, admin, accounting, sales & marketing, marketing, recruitment, … )

Opstellen en monitoren van planningen, budgetten en KPI’s.

Optimaliseren en implementeren van procedures, processen, templates en standardisatie/efficiëntere werkmethoden.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor Legal & Contract Management, alsook voor Purchase & Quality Management.

Toezien op welzijn, veiligheid, kwaliteit en naleving van normen.

Je houdt 1to1-, functionerings- en evaluatiegesprekken met de medewerkers en onderaannemers.

Indien nodig, tussenkomen bij contractuele discussies en acteren als Crisis Manager of het tussenkomen bij belangrijke beslissingen mbt klanten, onderaannemers, leveranciers,…

Indien nodig bezoek je werven

Samenwerken binnen het MT aan strategie, beleid en groei.

Selecteren en managen van externe partners & leveranciers.

Wie zoeken we?

️ Je bent in het bezit van een bachelor of masterdiploma

Ze zijn actief in batterijopslag, middenspanning/hoogspanning, snelladers en laadinfrastructuur . Ze realiseren grote industriële projecten in BeNeLux en zijn klaar voor internationale groei.

Als Business Development Manager Fast Lane speel je een cruciale rol in het beheren en uitvoeren van kleine single site projecten en in het ondersteunen van multi-site klanten. Je werkt samen met een virtueel team van Fast Lane Managers en uitvoeringsteams binnen de volledige Climagroup om projecten tot een succes te brengen. Zin om het verschil te maken? Lees dan verder!

Hoe ziet je dag eruit?

  • Selecteren en analyseren van projecten : Je kiest projecten binnen focusmarkten met potentieel en voert een grondige analyse van de klantbehoeften uit, op basis van plannen of een plaatsbezoek. Daarna stel je een voorstel op en presenteer je dat aan de klant.

  • Beheer van projecten in Hubspot : In Hubspot houd je de pipeline up-to-date, maak je projecten aan op basis van informatie van Sales Support, en zorg je voor een vlotte administratieve opvolging. Regelmatig overleg met je leidinggevende over de voortgang en succesfactoren van projecten is hierbij essentieel.

  • Verkoop en behalen van doelstellingen : Je neemt de verkoop van projecten op je en draagt deze vlot over aan de back office. Samen met je leidinggevende bepaal je jaarlijkse omzetdoelstellingen en zorg je ervoor dat de bruto marges gehaald worden.

  • Bepalen van core products en support tools : Je werkt actief mee aan het ontwikkelen van onze kernproducten, samen met het Fast Lane-team en de engineeringafdeling. Daarnaast help je bij het opzetten van support tools om efficiënt te werken en draag je bij aan het concept voor geselecteerde multi-site klanten.

  • Projectmanagement van Fast Lane projecten : Als projectmanager neem je de leiding over kleine single site projecten en zorg je voor een vlotte samenwerking met uitvoeringsteams, zoals servicemonteurs of montage teams. Ook zorg je voor een volledige administratieve afhandeling van de projecten.
