Your next challenge

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Cloud Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to build, automate, and operate cloud infrastructure at scale. In this role, you'll be actively involved in designing and delivering secure, reliable, and scalable environments—primarily in Microsoft Azure—while contributing directly to code, configurations, and system deployments.

This is not just an oversight or advisory position. You’ll work directly with tools like Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring platforms to shape and implement our infrastructure. You will play a key role in our ongoing migration from on-premises datacenters to the cloud, taking ownership of technical execution, from design to deployment and optimization. You’ll collaborate closely with DevOps, security, and application teams, translating architectural decisions into real-world implementations and solving complex challenges in real time.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and native cloud tools.
• Lead the migration of VMware workloads from on-premises to Azure—using AVS or re-platformed services.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments on-premises: ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, and storage networking.
• Provision and manage Azure VMware Solution (AVS) environments, ensuring secure and performant integration with native Azure resources.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and system configurations using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools.
• Set up and manage networking, identity, RBAC, and policy in both VMware and Azure environments.
• Implement and maintain cloud and on-prem monitoring, alerting, and logging.
• Troubleshoot production infrastructure issues across platforms (VMware, Azure, network, OS).
• Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams on hybrid deployments and cloud-native service integration.
• Write and maintain clear documentation and operational playbooks.

You’re a match - What we're looking for:

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience managing VMware environments: vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, VM networking, and shared storage.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure services (VMs, networking, storage, identity, monitoring), preferably Azure.
• Broad understanding of infrastructure domains: compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and automation.
• Experience designing and implementing hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps tooling (Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
• Working knowledge of security principles, identity/access models (e.g., RBAC, Zero Trust), and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or systems architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise cloud infrastructure projects.
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
• Advanced fluency in English and French/Dutch.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience.

The OCI Cloud Engineer is responsible for provisioning, configuring, monitoring, and supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments for enterprise workloads including Oracle SaaS ERP, Oracle PaaS solutions (OIC, APEX, VBCS), and custom applications. The role supports infrastructure deployment, connectivity, automation, and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Provisioning & Support

• Deploy and manage OCI services including Compute, Block/Object Storage, Load Balancers, Bastion Hosts, and Database Services (ADW/ATP)

• Set up VCNs, subnets, security lists, routing tables, and internet/NAT gateways

Monitoring & Operations

• Monitor system health using OCI Monitoring, Logging, Alarms, and Notifications

• Implement and manage backup, patching, and DR activities

Security & Access Control

• Configure IAM policies, groups, dynamic groups, and custom roles in OCI

• Support compliance with enterprise security standards and cloud governance policies

Automation & Scripting

• Write and maintain scripts using OCI CLI, Terraform, or Shell/Python for infrastructure automation

• Assist in building infrastructure-as-code and DevOps pipelines

Connectivity & Integration

• Set up secure connectivity with Oracle SaaS using VCN Peering, FastConnect, or VPN

• Support OIC and third-party integration deployments in OCI environments

Troubleshooting & Incident Management

• Investigate and resolve issues related to OCI services, network latency, and access control

• Work with Oracle Support for SR resolution, escalations, and patch coordination

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 3–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 1–2 years on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

• Solid hands-on experience with networking, compute, storage, and IAM on OCI

• Knowledge of Oracle SaaS/PaaS deployment architectures and OCI-native tools

• Familiarity with Terraform, OCI CLI, Git, and basic CI/CD operations

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent

• OCI Foundations or Architect Associate certification
