• Manage the preparation and implementation of a new VIM channel for UBL invoices

For a government client in Antwerp, I am looking for a senior SAP consultant for a long term role. It is a combination of a technical and a functional job. The role offers 2 days of remote working.

The expertise in the team of the client is spread across the SAP landscape.

Because the person in the field of FM, MM and PS is given extra tasks, we are looking for an expert who has an in-depth knowledge and experience of PS, FM and MM. The functional knowledge is strengthened by a strong technical knowledge of ABAP to properly understand the developments and adjustments from the past. The documentation is therefore best found by walking in the code.

Your assignment:

The assignment consists of 2 parts:

• For the project operation, migration to SAP S4HANA to guarantee the quality of the delivered work. This in general, but in particular in the field of FM, MM and PS to guard the critical points.

With your combined skill and knowledge, you will be able to assist the users during the tests. Check the code and detect where blocking occurs either code, data or config.

• For application management: Through a central ticketing system,

users report various SAP problems (incidents/service requests). You will work independently in this. This includes: analyzing the problem, discussing it with the customer, resolving, documenting and providing feedback.

The tickets require both functional and technical knowledge about different modules (FM, MM and PS) within SAP FI.

Who we are looking for:

1. You have experience with multiple implementations of SAP, both SAP ECC and SAP S4HANA, so you always maintain a helicopter view.

2. You have in-depth knowledge of ABAP, which allows you to effortlessly dive into the code to explain how it works, to propose improvements.

3. A minimum of 10 years of functional SAP experience is required. SAP S4HANA FI is also expected to have sufficient experience.

4. You have enough experience and people skills to spontaneously address users who have problems with the tests. You speak to them functionally and if there is more going on, you dive deeper.
